A polished end cut of NWA 869 end cut. With awesome polishing quality, the slice has been flat lapped to 14000 grit and has a mirror-like surface. With a finish that fine, the inner structures of the meteorite can be seen in great detail and preservation against oxidation is high. This end cut includes mirror-like iron inclusions (that are difficult to display photographically) and chondrules, the first material condensed out of the solar fog. The specimen comes with a certificate of authenticity. Shipping costs are 6 Euro within the EU and Switzerland, and 10 Euro worldwide. For multiple purchases we combine shipping.
After your purchase this specimen will continue to be displayed in the Meteorite Gallery of our museum unless you do not want us to display your meteorite online.Please allow 1 to 2 business days for shipment since we have to retrieve the items from our warehouse first. Shipment takes place from Germany via DHL or Hermes. Should you prefer one or the other carrier please let us know. Scale cube is 1cm (not included).
