Germanium Bar

Germanium is a very rare element and, with an annual production of only 126 tons (2016, source: USGS), has an extremely low extraction rate. Nevertheless, in today's world germanium is an indispensable component of electronic components, glasses as well as in nuclear medicine and nuclear technology. The shipment is from Germany, so there is no further customs clearance to be done within the EU. Fully insured shipping costs are 12.48 Euro within Germany, 70.49 Euro with the EU and Switzerland, and 103.99 Euro worldwide. For multiple purchases we combine shipping. The shipment takes place 1 to 2 days after receipt of payment, as we first have the items be delivered from our warehouse.

ATTENTION: Pure germanium is very brittle, the bar can break apart if exposed to mechanical stress. Please don't drop the bar or work on it with hard objects.
