A polished slice of NWA 869 meteorite. With awesome polishing quality, the slice has been flat lapped to 14000 grit and has a mirror-like surface. With a finish that fine, the inner structures of the meteorite can be seen in great detail and preservation against oxidation is high. All meteorite slices include mirror-like iron inclusions (that are difficult to display photographically) and chondrules, the first material condensed out of the solar fog. A white scale square for the microscopic photo is 1 mm x 1mm. The specimen comes with a clear acrylic stand, as per photo, and a certificate of authenticity.
