These mesas on Mars remind us of the famous flat-topped hills in the southwest of the USA. The distance from the left to the right side of the image is about 3 km. If you use your red-green glasses as intended (red colour for the left eye) you will be impressed, but if you like you can turn them around so that the red colour is used for your right eye. In this case the altitude information on the image is inverted and you can see huge holes in the Martian ground. These are not real on Mars, but certainly you can find things like this somewhere else in this universe (in fact there are already many similar holes here on earth).
